Brooklyn is a small hand build company that has been in biz for quite a while now, I am not employed by them, I have just been beating the F%$# out of their bikes for over 10 years now....with zero failures and only one bearing replacement... So i am most likely one of their biggest fans/advocates..... I pay what everyone pays...They are worth every cent ! The NorthEastern gnar over here is second to none..only the Shore comes close... these things work well, last long, and just plain make me happy to be alive!! Call them direct and ask for Joe, he is the owner and he will give you any info you desire. They are very busy doing advocacy projects and have a hard time getting emails back in a timely manner...they just made a bunch of custom trainers for the occupy wall street people...So they are master craftsmen that have their hands all over the "real" bike industry !

The SR6 and SR8chain system is simple really...similar to the original Balfa BB7 designs..the main drive cog is on the same axis as the swingarm pivot...which means zero pedal feedback under any condition...stand up and pedal through rock gardens and it just moves forward with magic carpet ride like ease. Hit massive bumps, jumps and drops ...zero pedal kickback...just super plush suspension absorption ....And with the Avalanche shocks.... indestructible and bottomless feeling suspension !
The Racelink is the same concept only it uses a jackshaft system, which is the little chain you see on the left side of the bike...zero chance of chain loss issues in any condition... These bikes are built to last for many years with zero to minimal maintenance required !
One ride and you'll be hooked !!
